What happens when you lose your virginity? When a woman engages in a sexual intercourse for the very first time, the hymen is usually stretched or torn during the process. Because of this, light bleeding from the vagina is expected. Women can experience varying levels of pain during their first sex, depending mainly on how rough or how light was the experience. Based on medical studies, women normally experience pain right after losing their virginity. However, it is still possible for some of them not to experience any pain at all during the process.

There are some misconceptions with regards to the subject of losing one’s virginity. Two of them pertain to manual stimulation and oral sex. Although both of these things are considered as sexual activities, they are not synonymous to sexual intercourse because this act is defined as the penetration of a man’s penis into a woman’s vagina. Since manual stimulation and oral sex involve no penis penetration, women who only did these things without penis penetration have yet to lose their virginity. They may have engaged in sexual acts, but they are still virgins in the strict sense of the term.

When a woman is about to engage in a sexual act for the very first time, there is still a possibility of getting pregnant. In order to prevent this from happening, medical experts recommend the use of a condom. Not only will this prevent the chances of a woman to get pregnant, but it will also prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

Some people consider the act of losing their virginity very important. In some cases, women have no choice but to engage in first-time sex even when they are not prepared emotionally. This is actually a bad thing because they have a very strong tendency to experience strong feelings of guilt as well as low self-esteem.

At this time, a pregnant woman is expected to experience nausea and morning sickness, which are actually caused by the changing hormones inside her body. Although the results are quite unpleasant, these changes are very important to sustain a healthy and successful pregnancy.

By the third month, a heartbeat can be detected using a stethoscope. It is also during this time that the baby grows to four inches and some of the body parts including the fingers, toes and nails are developed. After a month, a mother can start to feel the movements of her baby. By this time, the baby’s weight is close to 5 ounces.

From the fifth month until the sixth month, a pregnant woman experiences severe back pain and constipation. During the second trimester of the pregnancy, the baby’s weight increases to 1½ pounds. In addition, this stage also marks the start of the baby’s ability to turn upside down and roll from side to side.

Seven months after conception, the baby’s movements are becoming more vigorous. A pregnant woman experiences Braxton Hicks contractions. Aside from these, she can also experience cramps in her legs as well as her feet.

During the eighth month of pregnancy, the baby’s weight is around 4 to 5 pounds. A mother can experience undesirable feelings caused by indigestion and heartburn. Aside from these things, she is also expected to experience severe back pain as well as abdominal pain.
